Laser printer wanted for OS 9.2

All right, I'm considering getting a laser printer and trying to find out if its cheaper to use laser toner or inkjet cartriages. The inkjet cartriages are expensive and I have to keep buying them. Would a monocrome toner cartriage get me more pages for less money than a handfull of inkjet cartriages? How many pages can I get out of a laser printer and what is a duty cycle? Have a nice day.
