Ethernet issue!!

Hi I am in desperate need of help..

I have a black macbook.

A friend plugged in the wrong end of the ethernet cable and now it seems to be stuck. Is there anything simple I can do to get it out. I do not want to force it.

Please please please - Help Help Help
