I am searching for Claris Resolve spreadsheet program. I owned it for
years and accidently lost it. I have many documents I cannot open.
Anyone know how to obtain a copy of Claris Resolve?

Please let me know.

Thanks, Mike

Well, many, many years now since I've tried Resolve, but if I'm not all
too wrong the ClarisWorks Office 5.0v3 can convert Resolve files in one
or two ways... - Doublecliscking a Resolve file will not do it...

But try one of these instead.
1- Drag each file onto the ClarisWorks Office 5 icon. - or -
2- Import the file via either the CWKSOffice 'import' or 'Open file'

Alternative MarinerCalc 5.x for either OS 9 or X can do the trick, since
MC is still Claris XTND compatible, but this requires that Mike still
has the original XTND translator in his 'Claris' -> 'Claris translators'
in the OS 9.x system folder folder.

A demo of MarinerCalc 5.x can be found here:

Yes, 'MacLinkPlus 8.0i' with 'MacLinkPro 8.0i' translators or the
'MacLink PC Exchange 8.0' can do it. - I have these old packages and
they are capable of even the old RagTime 1-2-3 and Lotus spreadsheets.

Hm... btw., I even think that FilemakerPro 2.x or 3.0 is able to import
Resolve files...

Cheers, Erik Richard

Thanks for the tip. I have the latest MacLinkPlus Deluxe v15 and no, it
will not convert Resolve. It will convert everything but Resolve.

I've tried but
I can't find Resolve on eBay
I can't find ClarisWorks Office 5.0v3 either

I've tried converting with these:
Mariner Calc v5.5.0 - No
icExcel - No
icWord 4 - No

So far I'm out. Can't open Resolve spreadsheets. Resolve is dead. I'm
glad at least you guys have heard of it. Google searches have not
gotten anywhere on Claris Resolve. If anyone ever finds an old Resolve
copy anywhere, let me know.

Thanks,
Mike

Well, I used Resolve just last week to calculate my wife's corporate tax
return... :-)

One of the *very* few programs that I find it worth firing up Classic for.
I could convert my 1120S spreadsheet to Excel, but it never seems to be worth
the bother... And I still like Resolve's (and Wingz's) scripting language
better.

Contact me via email, Mike.

You shouldn't by the way have an old copy of WordPerfect Works 2.1? -
WPfctWorks won't run on Os 9.x, but it still runs on a Os 8.x, - Maybe
this oldie will be able to open Resolve files... It's about same 'age'
as Resolve.:-))

Of course we have.:-) Google isn't that all-knowing - yet.:-)

Sure, I'll take a look on my CD database and see, if it should happen to
hide there somewhere.
