Having a problem getting the mac's to log on. Have now realised it is down to the 'R' in attributes. Have removed all the info in attributes, but the R keeps coming back! Does anyone know what this R is? or why the mac o/s doesn't like it? Have one user with it on below.

Any info on this would be great, I have spoken to my old Microsoft lecturer, who pointed out he had seen it, but doesn't know what it does!

User two has only the Read access or attribute - where all other users have read and write access I would imagine.

You need to go to your users in the system preferences to change this and allow full privileges for that user.

Thanks for reply, unfortunatly we have proven it is nothing to do with access rights. The only thing we can think is it is a piece of software we are using that is setting the 'R' attribute
