Need some code breaking help!

Hello! I am participating in a contest this coming weekend and as part of it we are given images as clues ahead of time. This image has got me stumped. I believe it is just something typed in a strange font, but I have been unable to find the font. The second image shows a letter substitution that I did in order to solve this as a cryptogram. The problem I am having is that I can't be sure of where the word breaks are and whether or not some of the symbols represent punctuation (I don't think so.)
