Hello,

I can't figure out why I can transfer files from my iBook's iTunes library to my iPod, but I CAN'T add to the library files already on my iPod.

Is there a simple solution?
A complex one?

I want to put songs from my iPod (originally loaded on there from another computer) on to my iBook, in the iTunes library!

Any help or tips appreciated.

Thanks,
s

Hi Susan and welcome !

You need to 'enable' invisble files/folders so that when the iPod is plugged in you can see the library folder/directory...

What version of OS X are you on ?

regards

Ric

Hi,

You can check out this Apple link:

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.h...tnum=300173-en

There are also some 3rd party programs that should help -- some free some not...

iPodCopy, iPod Acess, YamiPod, iPodRid, et. al.

And if you find a way I can move my photos from my pod to my spankin' new MacBook Pro, (G4 was stolen from my house) we'll both be happy.
