Connecting Airport Express to WAP wireless

I've been trying to connect my Airport Express base station in my new dorm. We've got wireless internet and it works without trying to use the base station for anything but then i cant have my speakers and my printer wireless. The problem is that i cant figure out where to put the password/username for the internet connection. It tells me that I need to put a password but it says nothing about the username. Any ideas?
