How to make a piece of 'Banner' art in the Terminal

A little bit of history...how things were done

Open up Terminal and type in

Code:
banner "www.mac-help.com" > ~/Desktop/banner.txt
then press return...



'banner' changes the text in between the quotes to a nice big ASCII banner which you can then print out...you might need some sellotape, unless you have an old continuous paper printer !!!

There will be a file on your Desktop called 'banner.txt' open it up turn your head 90 degrees and have a look....

Very retro...
