Hi there,
this is really better suited to AppleScript...
But here's one way of doing it in Automator.
The text file you have supplied needs to have 'the path' added to each filename otherwise this won't work...this coulb be done in BBedit or Automator.
I am not sure where you are getting the file list from so you will have to 'investigate' that further.
You need the text file to have the complete path...
ie
/Users/computer/Desktop/AnimalWorld/IMG_6913.CR2
/Users/computer/Desktop/AnimalWorld/IMG_6912.CR2
/Users/computer/Desktop/AnimalWorld/IMG_6911.CR2
/Users/computer/Desktop/AnimalWorld/IMG_6910.CR2
/Users/computer/Desktop/AnimalWorld/IMG_6909.CR2
/Users/computer/Desktop/AnimalWorld/IMG_6908.CR2
Once your text file is correct...download this Automator Action.
Load File List
Then in Automator...
Step 1: Load File List (your BBedit file)
Step 2: Copy Finder items (select your 'y' folder)
Regards
Ric
