how to open a file

My os is Mac OS X snow leopard. I saved a statement from my bank but can't figure out which app to open it with. In downloads it is listed as statement.aspx. I have no idea which app would be appropriate. Can anyone talk me through the process. Thank you.

No, aspx isn't the file, its a web link.

http://www.fileinfo.com/extension/aspx
Click the link that gave you that file and save the resulting web page.
Or you can look around your bank site and find another link to the .csv or contact your bank.
