fried logic board

i spilled liquid on my macbook pro and I want to retrieve the data off of the hardrive. Can i remove the harddrive and put it into a enclosure and plug it into my current pc and access the data?

If you didn't also kill the HD, you can, but it news to be into another Mac not a PC.
