I recently picked up an older MacBook and I am looking for a version of Final Cut Pro that will work with my computer. Seems like I'm too new for the older versions and too old for the newer versions.

Here's my specs...
Model Name: MacBook
Model Identifier: MacBook2,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 4 MB
Memory: 2 GB
Bus Speed: 667 MHz
RAM (x2): Size: 1 GB
Type: DDR2 SDRAM
Speed: 667 MHz
VRAM: 64MB

Intel GMA 950:

Chipset Model: GMA 950
Type: GPU
Bus: Built-In
VRAM (Total): 64 MB of Shared System Memory
Vendor: Intel (0x8086)
Device ID: 0x27a2
Revision ID: 0x0003
Displays:
Color LCD:
Resolution: 1280 x 800
Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888)

Any ideas?

I presume you mean Final Cut Pro v Final Cut X. You can't be too new for Final Cut Pro, it runs on the latest Mac running Lion. You just can't have BOTH on the same Mac.

To be honest I'd recommend trying to find a copy of FC Express, you would get very little extra on a Mac with those specs.
