Gmail spinning

I purchased my MacBook Pro prior to deploying to Afghanistan and had it set up to use both my Gmail and Roadrunner e-mail accounts. All worked fine until a couple of weeks ago when my Gmail account stopped receiving mail (I can still send mail through it). My Gmail inbox continuously has the "spinning wheel" next to it. I can still get my Gmail by logging into Gmail via the Internet but I would like to fix my Mac Mail. My bandwidth is weak here in Afghanistan but my Roadrunner still works just fine. Thanks for your advise!

I recommend removing the gmail account from Apple Mail, then close Mail completely, then reopen, then re-add your Gmail account. Since its all stored on their servers it should sort itself out.
