Printers and Lion

My trusty old HP Deskjet 920c printer won't work with Lion. Seems like no HP printer works with Lion. Anybody recommend an inexpensive simple foolproof printer for Lion? TIA.

The HP Drivers come in the Software Updates. All the modern HP printer just work.

There is a long list of HP printers that will not work with Lion. See:

The current Deskjet 1000 is supported by Snow Leopard but not Lion, per its specifications:

And so on.

These haven't been supported since Snow.

Not sure how you would like us to fix this? Write a printer Driver. Shop carefully and Lion is 64 bit so the old legacy drivers that HP and the other Printer makers have been using need re-writing. Contact there support site and request and update.

So ... what's an inexpensive HP printer that works with Lion?
