sims 3 games not working !!!!!

hey i'm hoping somone can help me i'm havin problems with my mac , its not playin a sims 3 game i just brought ,i have several others sims 3 games on my mac already but now they're discs arent workin either. when i put the discs in they try and load then the mac just gives up and ejects it, but if i put any other disc in it works fine its just sims games please help i dont no who to ask and im not that good with computers

thanks for the help i got my mac through uni so ill ring the company i got it from its all my sims games and any other games i put in that dont work so its my mac thats broke. so ill jus have 2 ring them mon ill post what the problem was to maybe help somone else in the future x
