Sharing files on Network

Hi everybody

First time on here for me.
Im struggling with file sharing between my mac and my PC, I have tried the help section, the network section, practically everything.

I would really appreciate some help on this one as I have aload of music and pictures to swap to my PC and could do with doing it quickly.

ALso I am trying to use Dropbox which also wont help so Im hoping the problem is linked
