I agree, the most likely next iPhone will be next fall, Sep or Oct, one
year after this last one. They had to delay the 4S for various reasons, and
it seems that the fall makes more sense from a marketing perspective, since
it's closer to Christmas and it will be a more desireable gift if it's
still pretty new for the holidays.
Then again, Apple could announce the iPhone 5 tomorrow. They do what they
do, and, strangely, they don't consult me. But I'm pretty confident they'll
let us know when they're ready, whenever that is.
