Korg D888 Data transffer

HI ,
I have purchased a Korg D888 Mixer/Digital recorder. It connects to my Mac OS X 10.4.2 via USB 2.0 cable.
??QUESTION?? WHY DOESN'T MY MAC RECOGNIZE THE DEVICE? What can I do? Thanks

Is the D888 set to USB mode?

Have you tried another USB cable and/or port?
