ipod calendar

I sync my ipod to macbook calendar. I entered a "new event" on my ipod. It synced to macbook ok. However the "new event" screen on the ipod seems stuck there. I press "done" with no result and if I turn off and return to Calendar ap the same screen appears.
Any ideas?

Did you do a hard reset on your iPod - i.e. holding down the home and power buttons for a few seconds? This should do a full restart and get you out of the calendar app . Pressing the off button to turn it on and off will only put the iPod in to a sort of standby.
