Hi !

my Dvd drive reads only some Dvds and Cds..... it reads maybe 2 out of 10 cd or dvds... its more likely to read an original but sometimes it reads a burned one as well.. and it does not matter if they are brand new or a bit scratched... and once it takes it, it will always take this specific one not only once in a while... which makes me assume that the Dvd drive is technically working properly..

i changed once the region code and it might be that the issue appeared shortly after that...

the error message is that * you have inserted a blank cd* or it just ejects them immediately without a notification

Sounds like you have a damaged Drive, take it to an Apple Service Centre near you.
