Renaming user folder

Hi there, is there anyone who could help me please. I am running Lion on a MacBook Pro and I need to change the name of the user folder as the name is conflicting when I try to send to print over a network here at work. I'm trying to print to a Konica C452 PS.
Hope someone can help!! Thanks

You can change your network name in the System Preferences > Sharing.

The short User name is one of the constants in OSX, very bad things can happen if you try and change that.
Best thing to do is, Make a new User Account, System Preferences > Accounts,

PS Make sure its a standard account
