iphone internet with usb cable

Hi everbody

I have iphone 4 cell and macbook pro internet connected computer. Is it possible to share this internet connection via usb-cable with iphone?
My iphone wifi connection doesnt work.

Two years a go i had a hp ipaq and i did that time with hp usb cable over ubuntu computer internet sharing with ip forwarding.it has several times hanged up but most of the time worked good.

This is totally dependant on your Carrier, yes the iPhone can do tethering and in Australia it is no problem.

No i mine opposite.I know it is possible with iphone internet connected over carrier but i need to share computer internet connection.

Sorry, no the iPhone has no 30pin ethernet. You can use your MacBook Pro to make a Wireless Network and share the Internet that way.
