Hello

I have very limited knowledge of the technical side of how a mac works but recently I installed the new Lion software (downloaded from the Apple website) and every since I'm have no end of problems with my mac.

The main two issues are it keeps dropping the internet and photoshop CS5 keeps shutting down whenever I try and print.

I'm really upset as I loved my mac but now its a nightmare as its problem after problem. Is there any way I can get back to how it was before? I think I had Snow Leopard previously?

Thank you

Did you do a full backup before you updated?

I'd say you have a problem with an old Printer Driver.

and check your Console Logs for more info.

Hi Kaveman

Thank you for your reply. I did do a full back up so in the end I went back using Time Machine to before I installed Lion and now everything is good again. I'm so pleased!

I'd seriously advise anyone thinking about installing Lion to not bother

I'd disagree, I think Lion is an excellent upgrade. If you do a full backup beforehand then you can always go back, as you did.

There are millions of people who have upgraded and have no problems.
