Help. I was trying to Secure Empty Trash and it wont let me. It's saying "operation cannot be completed because "Fixed Bugs" is locked. How do I unlock it so I can secure empty trash? Thanks!

You'll want to add the "-P" flag for a secure delete with that script.

Nice "William Tell" script there 666.

Thanks Kaveman, I've never really bothered with secure empty trash, but that's good to know.

Thanks you for the reply. I tried right clicking it but it just went to a page "vector fixes". The icon of the bug is firefox, is there another way to unlock it?

I have no idea what you are trying to do, now?
Your last 2 posts make no sense.
To Unlock a File.
You locate the locked File in the Trash.
Then Right Click on it and a Menu will popup.
Choose Get Info
In the General section below Stationery pad is Locked
Ensure this is not Checked

----
If you're using the Script:
Double Click on the File ForceEmptyTrash
That will open AppleScript Editor
Click the Green Run Button
Enter your Admin User Name and Password
Job Done!
