how to add shortcut key to folders?

Dear All..How can we add a shortcut key to folders? Like the Picture folder..how do i assign a shortcut key?

The keyboard shortcuts to the standard ones can be seen in the Go menu.

There's no easy way to just open a folder that you have made.
Press the first letter of the Folder name then (command - O) is about as close as you can get.

Shift - Command - G will let you type a path.
