time machine

how does it work....I am unable ot install updates...says no free space.
I am new to mac and the time machine is not working....can it not save to disk?
it won't find the wireless thing...yet I am online wirelessly now?
I have tried everything I can think of???
Not just that, but I barely have anything on this computer, and after deleting all my pics and videos should there not be enough space for updates???

I'm sorry, your questions make very little sense.

Its not normal to have to delete things to run an update on new Macs.
this is best App I've found for tracking down Files hogging space.

And of course you do need to empty both your iPhoto and Finder Trashes.
