Upgrade install of Lion Broken

Hi.

From DVD i have tried to upgrade a mac to lion, everything started fine - it downloaded new files and after the files from the dvd was transferred it rebooted.

After the reboot it newer gets further than the starting "Installing" screen (with the active graphic in the button to show its running)

After two hours i rebooted, so that i instead would make a clean install from the dvd, but this one points to the previous broken install?

So what do i do now? If possible how do i tell the system to just do the clean install?

DVD and Lion??? did you make your own, if so did how did you do it?

Burned using disc utillity

What did you burn? there is no Lion DVD.

Guess i did not want to use a usb key.

Anyways, when i try to go around the current installation (through the option key startup)

It gives the option of either Mac OS X installer (the harddrive) and EFI boot through the osx install dvd, although this leads to the same installation.

What can i do to make a clean install?

It is maybe working now - resetting PRAM helped
