Hey guys, I just dragged an app from the bottom menu bar to the desktop and it had disappeared ... it came up with a cloud logo. I also did this with a a side bar on the FINDER with all my documents. Any ideas as to where they are/how to to get them back?

thanks

Hello,
To add an application back to the "Dock" (not the bottom menu bar), go to your Applications folder, click on the desired application's icon, and drag it back to the Dock. Use the same procedure for the sidebar.

Wow, you were able to post here, I couldn't, and now I can. Most strange.

Oh and just make sure when your dragging into the Sidebar that the marker is a blue line, not a box around another Folder, as that will copy the contents from your Documents to the highlighted folder.

It must be due to my magical avatar.
