I am not new to mac's, but I have a question that might be considered easy to some. I have hardware connected to a usb port. Is there a way to just open the port and see what is on the hardware? I tried typing in the address in my Firefox window, but didn't work...unless I'm doing something wrong.

Any help is appreciated!

If the product uses Bonjour you can use Safari.

History Menu > Show All History then select Bonjour from the Collections area.

If its a storage device, you may have to Enable
Finder > Preferences > General > External disks
