Processor : 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory : 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Harddrive : 149 GB

i have NO IDEA how a mac work, but i get around

my question is :

Can it be upgradet (Software/hardware)
if, WHAT KIND OF A UPGRADE ?

Yes, Core 2 Duo can go all the way to Lion.
But you will need to Add more RAM, depends on the model but it would probably take 4Gig if you take out the 1 thats in there.

Thats a good iMac you were very lucky.

Maximum RAM 3.0 GB (4.0 GB can be installed, only 3.0 GB will be addressed)
Type of RAM Slots 2 - 200-pin PC2-5300 (667MHz) DDR2 SO-DIMM

There are 2 RAM slots, which take that (200-pin PC2-5300 (667MHz) DDR2 SO-DIMM) sort of RAM.
You can put 2 x 2Gig RAM Cards but it will only use 3Gig of it.

I'd suggest only going to Snow Leopard with 3Gig, Lion love lots of RAM.

No, don't upgrade until you can Max out the RAM. It'll be like molasses.
