PC to MAC - Email and Internet

Hi,
I am considering swapping my PC for an iMac. I was wondering how easy it would be to transfer over my email account and current internet plan. I live in Australia and am with Bigpond for both email and internet.
Can someone plz tell me what my options are?

You may need to use Thunderbrid to migrate your email, but rest assured Millions of people have made the transition.

As to your ISP and the Mail and Internet accounts, Macs use stock standard connectors, it should just plug and play. If its difficult, you're doing it wrong.
