I bought a Macbook in 2008. It runs on Snow Leopard and it is version 10.6.7
The processor is 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
The RAM used is 2 GB 667 MHz of DDR2 SDRAM

I've read that with an Intel processor, I can use other brands of RAM, but my question is, can I use DDR3 RAM on this Macbook with these specs?

Thank you

Its best not to mix them, this is what you want.

Just confirmed with my Tech, she said the DDR2 and DDR3 are NOT compatible at all! They won't fit into each others slots.
