I've noticed lately two question marks showing up in the HD window. I don't where they came from and can't find an answer. Anyone know what it mean?

Hello,
Those question marks represent items that you dragged to the toolbar that are no longer there. To remove the question marks, merely command-click and drag them from the toolbar.

Thank you. I'm not sure how they got there, but there gone now.
Why would anyone want to drag something there?

Perhaps, to use for an alias, or it was done accidentally.

There are many great places to put shortcuts or Alias' on the Mac.

The Sidebar is good for often used Folders because they show up in Open and Save Panels.
The Dock is Good because it can Fan Open and Applications or Documents be access at any time.
The Finder Window Toolbar is good for the Tools you use a lot in Finder, I see a lot of people putting the Burn button there.

All of these places are very easy to make and then remove the Alias'.

Thanks for your prompt replies. I've been using Mac's for along time but really
have had little to no problems up until this particular event.
