New Hard Drive Install Now No Internet

PLEASE PLEASE help me! I installed a new hard drive into our imac g5 and got the os on it and now no internet?!? My new imac is on the internet fine so it isn't the service or router... Could I have bumped something while installing the HD or is there something else I should look for? Please help this is my husbands computer and we desperately need it up and running! Thanks in advance!! ~Mindy

ok i have opened my imac back up and there is a very thin wire with a small black tip on it that is disconnected... any ideas where it goes and if that is why airport is not working? someone? anyone? please?

Can I ask if you followed any documented instructions when you installed the new drive?

Airport card antennae wire I think I only have laptops bu it sounds like tht's what it is. Googel airport card hook up
