Hey,

I've just been to my apple shop today and had my HD replaced due to it being faulty. They have given me it back to see if there is anything I can do with it.

I've plugged it into a caddy and I am able to run bootcamp from it but not Macintosh. I've been into disk utility and they are both showing on the HD however Macintosh HD is showing in a lighter dimmer colour. I've tried repairing..etc and it says there is nothing up with it. Is there anyway I would be able to mount this image on my new HD, I've tried selecting and dragging over to mount but it won't let me.

Is there anything I could do to mount this image or to recover the data on there?

Thanks for your help,

Ash
