iMac bluetooth problem

i'm new to Mac and have recently bought a 21.5" iMac.

i've got a bluetooth hi-fi system and tried connecting my iMac and the hi-fi but the sound it delivers has a bit of noise in it. this is not the case when i have my iphone or my wife's PC as the source and the music is perfectly ok.

have tried removing all possible interference sources but the problem persists.

any clue?
