Airport problems!

Hey everyone,

I am experiencing a very annoying problem with my airport. I cannot connect my mac to a local network WPA protected via wifi (created by a windows user). Every time I type the password, I get a connection timeout message. Also when I create a local network, other windows users cannot see me or connect to me.
I was wondering if somebody knew how to solve this issue because it's quite frustrating.... :S
