Prompt on Close of Program or Shutdown?

I have Parallels installed on my partner's mac because there is an appointment book program we use in our office which is only available for Windows. Problem is, he suspends parallels with the appointment book open, which locks up the program for the rest of the users.

Can I create an automator script so that when he tries to close Parallels or on Shutdown of the Mac, it reminds him to close the appointment book?

Thanks!
Rich

You could setup 2 Scripts, one for Shut down and and other for Parallels, and tell him those are now the ONLY way he can Shutdown or Quit Parallels.

Other than that you are looking at monitoring active processes and by the time they disappear its too late.

This is really a user education issue.
