Im looking for help solving the issue of my 2009/2010 macbook's screen momentarily going dark for four seconds 25% of the time when opening up a safari page onto the online vancouversun newspaper website. Although this is not a critical issue i would still like to know possible reasons behind this glitch.

Hmm ... the site is fine ... I can't figure out why your screen blacks out like that? Is the MB still under warranty? Does the screen black out any other time when you aren't using the internet? Does it happen on any other website?
