wont start /cd wont eject

Hello
i put my system disc into the drive to clean free space, I hit the wrong button wipe all.Then I hit com & period to stop this [ it was right away] everything seem to work fine, then when I hit restart, I get a blank screen and it does not boot up. I have a MacBook pro 10.5 how can I force eject the disc, and also start the system? Thanks for your

help.
