Hi everyone -

Woke up this morning and the my MBP won't boot.

Here are the symptoms -

Press start button - get the initial boot audio. Hear dvd engage but nothing else happens - screen black.

Start over again, this time I press and hold down the start button. I get a loud, single BEEP and then nothing. After about 20 seconds my keyboard backlighting turns on.

Remove battery and power supply/Replace battery and power supply... all symptoms the same as above.

Any suggestions? RAM? Logic Board? Something else? Time to buy a new Mac? :-)

Thanks!

Hello,
One beep usually indicates a RAM problem.
