How to post on mac-help.com

This is how to post your question on mac-help.com


First, you need to register. Due to the amount of spam and automatic advertising posts we used to get, you must register with a valid email address in order to be able to post.

Click here to register. Once you have registered, you will be sent a confirmation email, once you have clicked the link in this then you will be able to post.

This all takes less than five minutes, the emails are all sent automatically !

Now, that you are registered....

Click on the "Forums" link as below...




Now pick the forum you would like to post in !
Don't worry if you're not sure where to post, just post in the Mac OS X System Software, like below.



Now click the "New Thread" button, as below.

Once you click the "New Thread" button, you should see this screen...




This brings up a little text editor as above.

Please add in the title and question as required.

Then once you are done you can click the "Submit New Thread" button.

Once the question has been submitted, when anyone replies you will receive an email message letting you know !

Please do not reply to the email message, follow the link in the email message and reply in the forums !


Thats all you need to do.

There are lots of different buttons you can press, some are obvious, some are not !

Move the mouse cursor over each button and leave it for a second, then a little 'tooltip' should pop up to let you know what each one does...



This one allows you to place a link to a website...
