new user

couldnt find new user section so hopefully posting question in the right place .i just switched from pc to mac so please bear with. i try and be careful when downloading apps from the internet that a mac compatible . what im trying to find is something that shows image icons (executable files ) . i have some that are brown in color with a line thru the middle of the icon and exe at the bottom . are these for a imac.

resolved , its a zip file in mac .

Welcome to these forums. Just so you are aware of it, .exe files do not work in Macs unless you are booting in Windows.
