Angry Login Screen ??

G5 iMac (the flat one)
OSX10.4.11
2GB ram

downloaded a security update today, after rebooting, I get a loginscreen which I never seen before. I always swithed on my mac and I was in. And now, after 6 or 7 years living with him he wants to know a name and password which I do not know.
Any ideas??
